Save the date : Paris Rive Droite Art Dealers hold their Annual Nocturne on
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4 th, 2014

Paris 8th, around the Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Avenue Matignon

Nocturne Rive Droite has been a fixture of Paris art events for more than 18 years. This year, art lovers and collectors will rendezvous on Wednesday, June 4.

From Avenue Matignon to rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, via rues de Miromesnil, Penthièvre et La Boétie, around sixty galleries will unveil, between 5 pm and 11 pm, recent acquisitions and new hangings. It is an opportunity for everyone to see masterpieces, but also to exchange with artists or to fall for a major work of art. Many galleries and antiques dealers have set up special exhibitions be they centered around an artist or a specific theme, or works of art unknown to the public hitherto. Nocturne Rive Droite is a novel journey through the whole of Art History, comprising the largely represented 17th to 19th century fine and decorative arts, but also tribal, modern and contemporary art.

Nocturne Rive Droite invites Art History. This year's edition of the Nocturne reflects new ambitions to prove the dynamic of the 8th arrondissement art market by inviting eminent authors in art history and related fields. During the Nocturne, the galleries and associated book shops will invite art historians, authors and art critics to sign their recent publications.
